Poppies
We have a lot of orange California Poppies growing on front yard. Penelope likes to cut them while Winston just likes to watch them. He has learned that the pedals close when it gets cold or windy.
Liza gave us seeds for some light pink poppies which the kids planted.
Picnic
Winston and Penelope enjoying a nice meal in our clean backyard. My dad was up visiting and did a major clean up of our front and backyard with some help from Andy and my brother-in-law. The weeds are gone but unfortunately we are not having any nectarines or peaches this year. The trees have a fungal diseases, Taphrina deformans, which is causing the fruit to fall off the tree.
