Happy Birthday Penelope!
From January 2, 2012
Penelope dressed up as a fighting Princess Leia. She chose the color for her cape, belt and shoes.
They had their own table and behaved wonderfully.
Penelope's shirt has an owl from the Cecilia fabric collection from IKEA which she painted and I sewed on her shirt. It's very cute. She made her own trick-or-treating bag with cut outs from the Alexander Henry Spotted Owl - I used for Winston's tote bag- and fall stickers.
The kids spent Sunday working on Aileen's birthday cake. The kitchen was a complete mess- there was flour all over the floor, chocolate all over the counter and lots of dirty dishes.

Forgot to take a picture of their gift. On Saturday they made a canvas painting.
Penelope requested to add a juggler ornament to her birhtday ring. She also asked for a big chocolate cake and lots of presents.
She truly enjoys celebrating her birthday and opening gifts. This next coming Tuesday she is going to have another birthday celebration at her preschool. She has already requested that everybody sing happy birthday to her again.
We had a lovely brunch at Nick & Liza's two weeks ago. Penelope ate all the blackberries and Winston ate all the strawberries and bacon.
Yesterday we went to small fair in Glen Park (SF). They had a petting zoo and pony rides. Penelope enjoyed feeding all the animals especially the chickens and goats. She went on three seperate pony rides and today she asked four times to go back so she could ride the pony again. In between feeding the animals and making her flower crown she ate a strawberry shortcake.
