Three Words
Three nights ago Winston said his first phrase with three words
"cup with tren" - he wanted his sippy cup with thomas on it.

Un pez dorado llamado paco!
Lately Winston has been obsessed with fishes so on Tuesday one of the nannies bought him a goldfish which he named Paco- I really think he was saying Pocoyo but the nannies didn't understand him so they made up the name Paco!
Winston loves the fish. He will seat and watch him swim around for minutes at a time. He also has to say good night to the fish before he goes to sleep and wants to see him as soon as he wakes up or returns from his playdates.
Update: 5/24/07: Today Winston came home to find his beloved fish floating. He was devastated....

Quick Learner
Last Thursday Winston began to use his new favorite word, "hey" to start all converstations. This weekend I took him to watch a Little League baseball game and as I was putting him in his car seat I dropped his gold club. His response to that was "oh man" - he must've hard someone at the park use that phrase. For the rest of the weekend he walked around the house saying "oh man"

Aprendiendo a contar/Learning to Count
Winston esta aprendiendo a contar. Abre su libro (El Pez Arco Iris: Números o Little Quack) y empieza a contar. En español todo es "dos, dos, dos...." y en ingles todo es "four, four, four..."

Yellowstone National Park
We are back from our vacation to Yellowstone National Park. In the next couple days, I will be posting pictures of our trip. In the meantime, here is a picture of Winston after a very long day of driving and hiking and some pictures of what we saw on our first day at the park.

Wii
Winston's latest word is "Wii." He brings one of the Wii controls to dad and says "papa wii" or "wii golf"

1 hr with Winston
We tried to get Winston to take his afternoon nap but instead Andy took the nap. Winston came down stairs ate two eggs with ketchup and then spent the next hour playing.
He took his crayons and paint brushes out of the basket and tried to sit inside of it.
Then he played hide-and-seek with it
After some time he started to use the basket as a hat and his pencil as a sword
He then searched for other ways to use the basket
Failing to entertained himself with the basket he decided to clean up and play with his golf club
Next, it was time for some baseball.
He can actually hit the ball if you toss it to him
Next, it was time to play with his trains
I left Winston playing with the trains while I put some clothes away and came back to find him inside one of the laundry baskets
After getting him out, he tossed balls into the basket and then played with it
Winston took a break to have some ice cream (it's very warm today)
He then decided to draw in his notebook
I left him for about a minute to check on the laundry and came back to find him going through my wallet
