Winston went to use the bathroom and was washing his hands when he realized that he could make bubbles by putting the bottle of hand soap right under the faucet. I went to check on him and was shocked to see the sink overflowing with bubbles. Winston was trying to make a long white beard like the one he imagined the old man in the The Little Folks’ Presents story- I've been telling him a shorter version of that. We never finish the story because he gets scared when I start telling him that they are going back. He is also fascinated with the story that I tell him about the owl; he likes to hear that before he goes to sleep.

Winston and I picked holly berries from the tree in our front yard and decided to use them for a craft project. I drew an apple tree and had him put the berries on the tree. When I asked him if he had seen a tree with that many apples he said no but that the guava tree had lots of guavas.
Earlier that day he asked to see Mythbusters and when I told him that he could watch Clifford or Curious George but not Mythbusters he told that we had a problem and the way to fix it was to let him watch Mythbusters.

Earlier this week Winston and I made a leaf mobile using a twig and leaves from the maple tree in our back yard.
Once we were done and ready to hang the mobile he went up to dad and told him that he had made his own cell phone. How did this happen? Well, the word móvil in Spanish is for cell phone and mobil is for mobile. The words have very similar sounds and in his excitement to show off his work he did a quick and dirty translation. He quickly realized his mistake and corrected himself.

Winston and I went to vote this evening. He took a flashlight to light our path to the church were we vote. As soon as we got to the church he asked for his sticker. I was surprised that he knew and remembered that he gets a sticker every time we vote. He got an extra sticker for dropping off dad's absentee ballot.
