Winston has been watering the plants around the house. Here he is watering the pomegranates tree which is covered in fabric softer sheets to keep the deer away.

Ai got Winston the gardening tool set for his birthday. The tools are sturdy with a coated metal which is perfect for the heavy gardening that we've been doing lately.

Last night Wiston and I made 'paletas de kiwi' (an ice pop made from fresh fruits). Winston was very excited to try them this evening.

We are next going to make banana paletas.

Pictures of our trip to the beach in Half Moon Bay.

After the beach we went to visit a farm in Pescadero where we went inside a chicken coop, watched chickens lay their eggs, and heard the roosters crow. We also got to see and taste the other vegetables that are grown in the farm.

We had to take a short hike to get to the fair from the entrance of the park. Unfortunately during this short hike we ran into a small snake that was 'sun bathing.' It took a couple minutes for Winston to recover from this.

Winston's favorite activity was using the dandy brush to groom the horse. The horse enjoyed it immensly and so did Winston.

These past few weeks have been busy and full for us. We moved to the new house and Winston turned four. We celebrated over the weekend with friends and chocolate cupcakes and on his birthday with a chocolate cake. For Winston having people are around to celebrate his birthday was the highlight.

Now that he is four, Winston is less reserve and enjoys playing with other kids much more than before. He also continues to enjoy playing with his many cars and has become very interested in the car make. His new interest is playing with his farm animals. He builds his corral, arranges his animals -horses, cows, pigs and chickens- and then uses his fire truck to crash into them. Sometimes he makes them drink water from his water trough before he crashes into them. I think he does this simply to get a reaction from us.

It was indeed a happy birthday. Thank you for all those wishes.

Winston likes to build his boat and go sailing. Sometimes he takes Penelope's doll on his journey.

He builds the boat using a fitted sheet and chairs.
