Pictures of Winston playing with his car and plane right before dinner. There is always turbulence when his plane is flying and it always ends up crashing either into the ocean or with one of his trucks. On this particular day he had the ambulance and firetruck come and rescue the pilot. His ambulance truck took the pilot to the hospital where he quickly recovered.
The deer managed to get passed our smelly deer repellent and eat some of the herbs, tomatoes and pepper plants in our garden. This reminded Winston of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" which we've been reading lately. Tonight he told me that the deer were not going to have bread, milk and blackberries for supper because they were naughty.

We are also reading "Henny Penny." Tonight for the first time he realized that the chicken and her friends were eaten by the fox. He asked me why the Tomten didn't shares his porridge with the fox. I was caught off guard and surprised that he connected this book with "The Tomten and the Fox"; we read this book this past Winter.
He also enjoys reading parts of "The Little Island" by Golden MacDonald. The book covers the four seasons as they affect the little island and the plants and animals that visit the island unfortunately the pictures are not in color.
Penelope made delicious strawberry popsicles for Winston.

Penelope and Winston are exact opposites. These are pictures of their last painting session. Penelope not only ate the paint but she also rubbed it all over one side of her face.
Winston and Penelope have difficulty sharing toys but this past weekend they came up with a great way to divide their table. Penelope played with the animals while Winston built towers.
