We used plastic eggs, wool roving and dish soap. Next time I will be adding glue to the center seams to keep them from separating during the wrapping of the wool roving. To dry them I put them in an old sock and put them in the dryer for 20 minutes.

It rained all day in OC on Wednesday. We made playdough with the fancy blender that mom has. It was easy and quick but I think I prefer the old fashion way.
Winston made a snowman, without a hat, surrounded by two snakes. He was carrying it around on a plate to show off his creation.
Winston also decorated his hair and made a mustache for himself.
Penelope's snowman had bunny ears made with leaves from the orange tree and a tail from the christmas tree.
We also made orange wedges dipped in dark chocolate. Winston and Penelope ate most of the chocolate while waiting for the wedges to boil.

Winston has been very busy preparing for Christmas. He still has lot of gifts to make most of which will get done in LA days before Christmas.
Wreath
The wreath has leaves, pine cones and acorns collected during our walks around the neighborhood and hikes.
Christmas Tree
The decorations on the tree have all been made by Winston.
This is a picture of Winston hanging his salt dough ornaments. Tip: Make them thin as they get heavy once they are cooked also make the holes bigger than you'd think.
Peppermint Bark
Winston made peppermint bark for our neighbors and his nanny.
Walnuts
Preparing to make his spicy walnuts. He has so much fun breaking them using the meat mallet.
