Winston is learning to use his hands.
Winston is 22.5 inches long and almost 10 pounds.
This weekend in between his growth spurt I went to buy a baby carrier because a) he loves to be carried and b) he is getting very heavy for me. The Baby Bjorn baby carrier is a good contraption similar to what Home Depot employees wear but with style. It has clips and locks and padded fabric and snappy clasps all to make sure that the baby is safe & comfortable and that it provides back support for the parent. Of course, Winston prefers to be carried without it so we have to practice, 15 minutes a day, until he gets used to it.
Winston went to the doctor today for his second Hepatatis B vaccine. He weights 9 lbs 6 oz, that's an average weight gain of 2 oz a day! This explains why I sometimes feel like he is permanently attached to my breasts.
