We had a great time in LA for Thanksgiving. Winston and Valeria had a great time reading and playing together. It's exciting to see that they are getting to that age where they can interact with each other. Meeting Rafita was a big suprise.
Winston worked very hard while we sat around recovering from our Thanksgiving dinner.
Winston loves this silly flap hat with frogs. Whenever he sees it he wants to wear it and then doesn't want to take it off.
He points at the frogs and says 'ana' the spanish word for frog (rana). He can also say 'oto' for 'otro and 'ete 'for 'este'
After finishing is yogurt he was ready for his own chorizo taco.
Winston and his uncle had a lot of fun taking the plane apart and putting it back together.
Instead of pulling his toy like he is suppose to he sits on it and tries to pull himself along.
Winston's new game is piling his cars and trucks on the chair. He will dig deep into his toy chest looking for any toy with wheels.
On Sundays we go to the Burlingame Farmer's Market to get pastries from the Brioche Bakery stand. They have delicious croissants. The chocolate ones are yummy, but only if you really enjoy chocolate, as its seriously chocolaty.
In the next couple days I will be posting pictures from our trip to Madrid.
Here's a picture of Winston in The Retiro , Madrid's best known park. The park occupies 120 hectares of land in the very center of Madrid- we stay about 5 blocks away. The Retiro includes a rose garden, a boating lake and more importantly the only monument dedicate to the fallen angel (aka the devil).
