Grocery Shopping

Winston likes to go grocery shopping. He will go and gab a grocery bag and ask that we go to "Whole Foods." This weekend it was raining but that didn't stop him. He ask to put on his vest, hat and shoes and then proceeded to find the grocery bag and an ATM card. I took a picture of him as we were ready to leave the house.

Update on Winston

In the last three weeks Winston has been learning and using about three new words a day. It's very hard to keep up with him. At times he gets angry because we don't understand him and ask him to repeat it or to show us. I wanted to jot down some of the more common words/phrases he is saying now.

"es funny or it's funny" - he switches between these two
"I want to watch cement truck blow" - when he wants to watch the mythbuster's episode where they blow up a cement truck.
"I don't know this" - when you ask him a question that he doesn't have an answer to
"don't know why" - when you ask him why did something he wasn't suppose to
"it's dark" - when it's dark outside or when we down on the garage at the grocery store
"oh no, let's play wii" - when he wants to play Super Mario brothers on Wii
"otro wii" - when he wants another wii game
"it's Winston" - used to remind us that certain toys or foods are his.

"it's done"
"go"
"stop"
"okay"
"mas" - more
"wow"
"I want to watch (gabba, clifford, bars) - "yo gabba gabba", "mythbusters"
"i'm hot"
"i don't want"
"I want to pee"
"I want bath"
"I want to make this" - He comes says that holding one of the Magic bullet cups when he wants to make a licuado.

Winston is learning to put on his shoes unfortunately he is very stubborn and keeps putting the shoe on the wrong foot.

Last week I showed Winston that he could use the camera on my cell. Yesterday morning I told him to stay put that I was going to get the camera to take pictures of Penelope. When I came back he was already taking pictures of her with the cell phone.

Pre School Update II

Last week Winston lasted the entire session on Tuesday and Thursday. He did a little crying when I dropped him off and when his nanny picked him up. He was a little more relax this week and even managed to do the two projects.

Yo Gabba Gabba!

By the way, Winston can now count to ten in both English and Spanish. It's very cute. I will try to record him counting.

Not Happy to Share

Winston does not want to share his high chair or any of his dishes with his sister. He started crying and saying 'mine, mine' this weekend when I sat Penelope on the high chair to eat.

After Penelope was done eating Winston sat on the high chair and had three bowls of rice cereal. Initially he didn't like the cereal but kept eating it because that's what I had fed Penelope.

Pre School & Dentist Update

Last Thursday Winston stayed the entire 3 hours at this pre school. He cried a little when I first dropped him off but very quickly calmed down. The director said that he didn't cry but he also didn't participate- he watched the other kids.

Yesterday, we took Winston for his second dentist appointment. The first time he went to the dentist back in November he was scared to open his mouth. This time he sat calmly on the chair showed the dentist his toys and would open his mouth for short intervals. When the dentist wanted to clean his teeth he asked that his dad seat with him but ultimately we left without getting his teeth cleaned.
