Adaptandonos poco a poco
Winston está encantado con su hermana pero se a vuelto más caprichoso de lo normal. La acaricia, la besa y se vuelve loco por cogerla en brazos. Es precioso verlo con ella. Cuando me pongo a cambiarla, el me ayuda.
Sin embargo, cuando me pongo a darle de mamar, se pone insoportable. El tiene que estar en sima de mi, quiere que le lea, o que le ayude con un rompecabeza. Es todo un drama.
Por suerte Penélope es una niña tremendamente tranquila y dormilona y me deje mucho tiempo para dedicarselo a Winston.

Music & Radio
For almost half a year Winston has stopped listening to children's music. When he goes to sleep he listens to the radio. Most of the time it's the BBC News but sometimes he listens to Marketplace. I think Marketplace puts him to sleep quicker but it could just be that it comes later in the evening.
In the car he listens to lots of alternative music plus Spanish Rock. He really likes Juanes. When a good songs comes on he will tap his legs, look out the window or just seat in his car seat quietly listening to the music but when a song comes on that he doesn't like he will say 'no' and will cry until I change it.
TV Nightmare
Up until age 2 Winston didn't watch any TV, but now that he's a bit older we've become more lenient with letting him watch some TV. He watches half an hour in the morning while I breastfeed Penelope and then another half hour in the evenings while I cook. The one thing that we've learned is that once you introduce TV it's very hard to control the amount.
We've had to slowly take away Winston's TV time because it has been a nightmare to control. Anytime I turn on my laptop he wants to watch Pocoyo or a car explosion on youtube. In the evenings he wants to watch two or three episodes of Thomas. For now, we are going to try to only let him watch TV on weekends. Let's hope that works because otherwise it's no TV as I cannot take the crying.
On a side note, he is an excellent traveler. He does a great job at entertaining himself on the plane or in the car without any videos.
